Take the A458 that goes from Shrewsbury, West through Welshpool toward Dolgellau and Machynlleth (see map below)

In Llanfair Caereinion, turn off the A458 by the Esso petrol station, signposted Town Centre and Cefn Coch. This road goes immediately over a bridge, then up hill and sharp right in front of the Midland Bank. Take the first left signposted Cefn Coch and Newtown. Take the first right opposite the Mobil petrol station signposted Cefn Coch. After 2 miles, turn right at the cross roads at the top of the hill. After 1 mile as the road turns sharp right, take the left turn signposted as a dead end. Rhos Goch Animal Sanctuary is on
the left 1 mile later just as the road turns sharp right.
